50 years probation for Alabama? Or 75?

    First things first.

It depends on what you consider an “anti-vaxxer.” There are “crazy as a bedbug” types who believe that vaccines include microchips implanted so that Bill Gates can track you. There are those who believe that vaccines cause autism. There are those concerned about allergic reactions. Then are those, such as poster Ragu, who simply fear this has been rushed and are taking a wait-and-see approach. Are these all “anti-vaxxers”? They are not all the same, obviously. My “guess” is that most are in the Ragu category. And their skepticism will “eventually” subside.

That is a very good point.™

Same holds true for "global warming deniers." There are at least 10 more moderate types between the extreme "It's all a hoax" viewpoint and the "Florida will be under water in 5 years!" viewpoint.

    That being said . . .

40% of LA's front-line workers declined COVID vaccine as some county ICU's run out of beds

I'm good with "prevents severe Covid illness". My primary motivation is a wife who is immune impaired. The rest is gravy.

That said, if nothing else, getting enough people the shot will get us to herd immunity eventually. Biden needs to do what he can to make it mandatory when you go to the doctor.

Then people won’t go to the doctor.

I work with people who are anti vaxers or fall into the category of "You're braver than me. I'll wait to see what happens to you."
    1. Yes I am. 2. When you've actually had it, shot side effects aren't daunting. 3. You're a dumbass.

I was thinking more like a ball of Peruvian and a bendable chick from Finland.
