Holy cow. The side effects from the vaccine mirror COVID. Fatigue was an issue with me with it and in the following weeks. I got the shot this morning and did do quite a bit around the house today, and now I'm freakin zapped. I took a nap about 3:30. I recently took another short one across the foot of the bed, and the reason I did that was because if I got in in long ways, it would have been over.
I was given a packet talking about side effects. I glanced at them and said, "Been there; done that."
    They weren't lying.

My wife got one Thursday. She had a decent headache for a good 24 hours, which we assume was a result, and that was it. So that's good. I've heard a lot of 24-hour fatigue or a little malaise and then good to go for the most part. Hope it'd mostly gone for you soon.

On behalf of someone who grew up in and worked in the parts of the country with the most Finnish-Americans, you can keep 'em.

If you get vaccinated, be prepared for watered down COVID symptoms. Last night was misery.
I was fatigued and feverish with tons of joint pain.
It wasn't as bad as having it for real, but it was COVID Light.
Getting it was bad enough. I hope we don't have to go through this every six months or however long it's supposed to last. I'm already dreading getting round two at the end of the month.

Enough people hear stories like that, and it's not all that absurd that large swaths are deciding, "Eh, maybe a better vaccine will come along down the pike. I'll pass on this one."

I seem to be coming around. The fever is gone. That was the main thing. I'll know more about joint pain and fatigue as the day progresses.

You already had COVID, right? I suspect your dose is acting on you the way most people's second dose will ... you were already primed, as it were.

    Yeah, that's correct.
