One of Biden's first act as President should be awarding the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Gabriel Sterling and Brad Raffensperger for saving democracy in Georgia. At the very least, they should be invited to the SOTU address and recognized.

The Republicans who vote to throw out the election on Wednesday are traitors to their country and violators of an oath their swore to their respective Gods. They should, at a minimum, be expelled from Congress. They deserve much worse.

 

Those 12 senators and assorted congressmen will be the Fred Merkles and Fred Snodgrasses of politics.

No matter what they do for the rest of their sorry-ass lives, the opening line of their obituaries will read, "Senator Trump Ballgagger, who supported the Republican party's seditious attempt to overturn the 2020 election of President Joe Biden, died Tuesday .... "

 

A guy on Twitter claims that Trump's lawyers have not had any opportunities to present evidence of voter fraud, no evidentiary hearings. I cited different cases and he repeatedly said "That' was not a fraud case."

I cited this article, in which the words "evidentiary hearing" appeared several times. He said "Some cases were about Constitutional issues. Some were about fraud."

Did I misread this article? Did he misread the article or was the article so poorly written that two reasonable people could read it and come to completely different conclusions?

AOC, her opposite ideologically, is smart, has a strong constituency and will only grow in influence and stature as the progressive movement continues to gather steam as more and more young people climb aboard. Calamity Jane is a one-trick pony and people will soon tire of her gun-toting antics because she brings nothing else to the table.

 

On the website Balloon Juice, one of the main posters, a guy with a long national security background and experience in training senior officers in hand to hand combat, just wrote a long post about how the congresswoman is showing anyone who wanted to take her down just how to do it, and that her means of carrying her gun made it almost impossible for her to use it until it was far far too late.
