Fully agree with this. They have different approaches. Gingrich "Contract With America" 1994. Tea Party 2009-10. Now the MAGA crowd. It's the same demographic. White people who don't exercise who are convinced the world is out to screw them.

When people look back on 2012, I think they'll see it was a contest between two of the finest humans to ever get into the mess of modern-day American politics. While I may not have agreed with many of President Obama's policies, I consider him one of the best people our nation has ever produced. He had just about every disadvantage in modern society while growing up and overcame that.

Then in 2016, we got Donald vs. Hillary...

There is video of Trumpists insulting and chanting at Romney on the plane. Apparently the flight was delayed as two of them were booted for yelling at him. But there were dozens of others doing it as well.
