If they “open fire on police,” Democrats better not “go on radio silence.” It should be “condemned” immediately. That would not be the time to “play politics.”

Amazed it’s honestly taken this long for the pot to boil. America has both low self esteem and arrogance. It doesn’t want to hear its faults - completely tuning out anyone with constructive criticism - and only wants to hear how great it is. Here’s the thing: Trump — this exact version of Trump — could’ve run as a Democrat in 2016 and won. Americans have exactly one criteria by which they vote, and that criteria is “name recognition.” It’s why incumbents at the local and state levels rarely lose.
