    During Garland's confirmation, I hope and pray he says something along the lines of:
    "I want to thank President Biden for giving me this opportunity to serve as AG. If I had been on the Supreme Court, I wouldn't be able to prosecute anyone who has had tried to destroy our great nation."

    Given the timing of the Garland announcement, is it likely that the Biden transition team had a different AG nominee queued up in case of a split or double loss in Georgia? And if so, who?
