it’s nuts. A few hours ago, they were cheering the event on as a great day in America, but now they claim it was really “liberals” in disguise. I guess they realized how fucked they looked.

 

Robot Pence almost seems like he has a pulse up there - seems short of breath. Whenever he speaks, he's like a scoop of store brand, light vanilla ice cream to me, but that's fine for now. Let's move this along as quickly as possible and GTFO.

I’m sure he is and his work sure was.

but the man and what he represents is as big of a problem as Trump. We got here in part because McConnell is who he is, along with other republicans in power.

I think of course of Cruz, a legitimately smart man who’s let his intelligence go to seeding...this. And by this I mean more than Trumpism. The man has been convinced for years the world is going to hell in a handbasket and he helped speak it into existence. There he was the last two weeks, fucking around with this insipid argument for objecting the election, serving no greater purpose than trying to be Tucker Carlson on Cap Hill, and he helped bring Wednesday about. Who’s that guy helped? What has he healed? Who has he led to a better place?

Sad, sad, sad. Hopefully Democrats in their two years lead like leaders, and not opportunists.
