President Trump: The NEW one and only politics thread

I'm sure these fools had help finding their way around the Capitol. It is a labyrinth. But the Speaker's office* isn't that hard to find. I was last there in 2018, and guide took us past it. It was well marked. I know because I poked my head around the corner wanting to yell at Paul Ryan.

*I don't know if the Speaker has fancy, formal office and a separate working office. The one we went by would qualify as fancy and formal, located sort of off the rotunda.

 

As for the woman shot and killed, yesterday I caught a news blurb on some bull crap conservative talk radio that framed it as "Air Force veteran killed by Capitol Police."

 

Something tells me this kid is going to be in the transfer portal soon.

 

Not surprising he is from South Carolina. Limpwrist Lindsey is all up in arms about Twitter banning Trump.

 

I suspect that as the investigation continues we're going to find out there was a core group, probably not too big, that had specific targets in mind. They were going to take prisoners, at least. I don't want to speculate anything else. And I think we're going to find out a faction of the Capitol Police were more than complicit. Some, like the ones getting smashed in the door, the one who shot, the ones who escorted Congress to safety and then held the House floor were not. It's going to be ugly.

 

I guess there's always MySpace. Not that anyone would know he's there, of course.

 

Perhaps if he started a band.
