If the story is accurate, perhaps the senior senator from South Carolina is playing the Goldwater role in flying with Trump in an attempt to get him to resign.

 

I'm curious as to how people at the Capitol protest were able to build a gallows, complete with noose, and still say this was a peaceful protest.
Better question might be how they built a gallows at all. I mean, do you carry lumber, nails and hammers at these protests?

The problem with these nuts is it's not only campaign related stuff. They've been flying flags, wearing caps and t-shirts, and who knows what else for the last 4-5 years like Trump is Dale Earnhardt or an NFL tailgate. It's a damn cult.

 

I'm slow on catching up on my tv, but if you haven't watched Jimmy Carter: Rock & Roll President, you seriously need to. It's great.

I've asked on here before wondering when Charlie Daniels took his heel turn. He campaigned for Carter in 76 and 80.

 

Trump has tapped into that same blind loyalty and cultural reverence Elvis, Earnhardt, Lynard Skynard and John Daly receive.
