The quoted word was by a former adviser of Pence's, not the VP itself.

If Pence had said that, based on what we know of him, it would have been almost as big as the Tangerine Tantrum calling the VP the P-word.

Why can't Congress do the same thing?[/QUOTE]
How do we ask them to without some kind of uprising?

And that under Article 94, anybody participating in a mutinous and/or seditious conspiracy faces penalties up to and including capital punishment.

Many people ask themselves what the Founding Fathers would say about this if they were still alive to see this.

Well … in all likelihood, they wouldn’t like how that’d go.

They have an hour to cast their vote, because of Covid restrictions on the number of people who can be on the House floor at the same time.

    Oh, hello.

More evidence as far as who’s a co-conspirator.

    They buried the lead, dammit.

Asked directly in his interview if he felt his father incited
the crowd, Eric Trump paused and then the line went dead.

Clyburn said earlier that he has a completely unmarked office that insurrectionists showed up at looking for him. That there was no way they could have known to look for him there without inside information.

    Sherill's accusation dovetails with that.

We, the public, still don't know everything that Congress knows, and Congress still doesn't know everything because there hasn't been an investigation. But when there is, some people are in *deep* shit. Some people are going to eat serious charges and expulsion from Congress.

I think we might actually get Trump too. Not for sure, but it doesn't seem impossible. The way he threw away the Georgia senate seats showed that he does absolutely nothing for Republicans who aren't him, and he absolutely plans on running in 2024 and he plans on starting that campaign about two hours after he leaves office. An impeachment conviction with addendum that he's barred from holding office again would solve a lot of problems for Republicans.
