President Trump: The NEW one and only politics thread

Everyone says a Senate trial will distract from the first few days of Biden's presidency.

Why? The evidence is cut and dried. I don't think you need to call witnesses. Play two hours of clips from last Wednesday and then have everyone take a vote. That makes it harder for the cowards to hide.

If Republicans insist on taking to the floor, every Democrat should respond by playing audio/video from the riot. If they're not allowed to do that, they should read text from every article written in the Post.

 

And that's a bad thing?

 

"Are you gonna pack the court, Joe?" Trump screamed repeatedly during the first Biden debate.

"I dunno. When I beat you, are you gonna claim the election was stolen, riling up your goon followers in the most dangerous face-saving attempt in American history?"

I personally don't give a fuck that companies are making statements that they're backing away from the GOP. They can always make contributions through shell companies or other anonymous sources.
