No one ever accused Maggie Haberman of mastery of the written word. She's part-stenographer and part-court gossip. At those, she's quite effective, and there's a place for both in news coverage.

 

Although she is an indifferent, to be kind, writer, Haberman's twitter feed consistently links to all sorts of interesting and well written stories I might not otherwise see. Maybe she should be an editor.
