They would need 10 others. A little easier when they consider the president will already be gone and it could lead to barring him from running again. Comes down to whether they contort themselves into a let’s move on and heal pretzel.

 

I’m not ruling out the passive aggressive approach to which Rick Scott alluded. Republican senators no showing the vote in protest, lowering the numerator required for 2/3rds.

I assume it’s McConnell’s call as to what is in the best interest of the party. He may have legitimate concerns about more senate losses.

 

Rudy's gonna lead the defense. Plans to make voter fraud charges. Of course, he could be subpoenaed as a witness for the prosecution.

 

And Trump was so boring and didn't divide America at all as Putin had hoped, so Russia just said "Fuck it" the second time, eh?
