When will Harris' replacement be seated? The Democrats won't be able to claim control of the senate until that happens. Once she resigns, even with the two Ga. senators seated, Republicans will hold a 50-49 edge. I think she is supposed to resign Monday or Tuesday. The replacement needs to be in the building already.

He'll be there. No doubt he's in DC now. But the party hopes he won't be seated until the Ga. Senators are because otherwise he'll have seniority on them even though they won elections and he's just an appointee.
