The inauguration is the 1987 family sitcom. A nice show of unity.

Again - the doing over the talking is back in effect. Trump did very little other than talk for four years. Biden probably won't be talking too much. Answering questions? Probably not a lot.

America gave Biden and Co. its business card with all the phone numbers, so to speak. They'll get back to us when they have time.

One thing I had to learn the hard way after nearly four decades of being steeped in American evangelical culture is that grievance and paranoia of the “other” is the oxygen it lives on.

Certainly the Democrats have a greater share of atheists and non-Christian religious followers than the GOP, but there are lots of Jesus followers who vote blue as well. They just don’t have an obsessive need to have the culture and the conversation centered on their hopes, fears and desires every moment of every day.

 

Why would there be any complaining about prayer, moments of silence, discussion of God, or "Amazing Grace"?

With all due respect, have you watched any other inaugurations?

 

Has Trump's plane landed? Did anyone catch his motorcade going from the airport to Mar-a-Lago?
