The tip line is so savage. That clip is gold.

She first did those commercials a couple years ago, and then seemed kind of "done" for a while because 1) they were mostly popular because guys were thirsty for her and 2) she was booking more work as an actress. But then the pandemic hit, so I kind of imagine she needed a paycheck. For similar reasons, Mike Mitchell of the Doughboys podcast and some minor Hollywood roles (supporting character on "Love," couple sketch comedy shows) talked about having to take a commercial acting role to make sure he stayed in SAG and had health coverage for 2020-21. (He's the heavyset white dude in the Progressive commercials with the first down marker guys in every day situations.)

In NE Ohio, we had this roofing company’s ad. If you were elsewhere and wanted to test anyone’s “Cleveland-ness” all you had to do was start the phone number and see if they have the Pavlovian response.

Got familiar with that ad from Cubs games. I hear the jingle on national ads now.

I would pay somebody a dollar to vacuum this out of my brain to make way for useful info. But nope, there it sits.

The Progressive ads with the life coach trying to teach people to not turn into their parents cracks me up every time.

I loved the Terry Tate Office Linebacker series from Reebok.
