Yeah it's clear over the last few days that the GOP powers that be on the ground and in Washington have done their polling and they know their base hasn't budged one inch away from where they were at dawn Jan. 6.

I get the sense Team Biden knows this. Let's see if Team Schumer does?

 

My sense is that registered republicans, about 1/3 of the total electorate will elect anyone who says they’re a Republican. They did. That’s the core. Registered Democrats will also elect anyone with a D. Independents are what’s needed to win a general election and they are probably 70% against trump, now. but republicans are worried about primaries and not general elections.

 

My mentor was a Ranger in Vietnam; West Pointer from dirt poor Nev. His friend told me, he never talked to me about it, but he jumped behind enemy lines doing recon; that has got to be hell, and respected him so much for never talking about it.

He was a tough SOB but straight as an arrow and demanding as hell. We did not agree on most social issues but I respected him and I learned so much from him.
