I was mopping the floor during the game, so my focus was on the commentary, it seems like he said "Jim" a lot.

There were at least two occasions where he thought he saw something, got super excited to explain it and, as he watched the replay, realized he was wrong and then couldn’t complete a thought. It just came out as broken, incomplete sentences.

The home field advantage will be muted, since the Chiefs will also be staying home and preparing for the game at their own facility for most of the next two weeks. By the time they board the plane to Tampa both teams will be in lockdown. If I'm the Bucs, I'm more worried about all the out of town relatives who want to hang out in the next two weeks. COVID-19 could end up deciding this game.

    It's been a while since we've had a not-competitive Super Bowl.

I feel like the Chiefs are gonna roll.

Costas talks about a young guy telling an older Yankee supporter that Mantle was the greater than DiMaggio, and the senior fan will just look at the kids and say "you never saw DiMaggio, you never saw the real thing."

    Ali is the real thing.
    Jordan is the real thing.
    Woods is the real thing.
    Brady is the real thing.

Now, Mahomes could be the real thing, but not yet.

Mahomes has been a starter for three years and he's been to three conference title games and now two Super Bowls. That seems pretty real.

    Wait, what?

    You're not sold on Mahomes?

Damn, this is a tough room.

Oh yeah, and he makes plays no other quarterback can.
