McConnell is just terrible for a decent America. Unfortunately for rational Americans, the scumbag wing of the Christian Theocracy Party makes him look understandably moderate. Cruz Hawley Cotton Rubio Graham Jordan Nunes Gaetz, these pederastic homicidal maniacs are just trump without the history of abject failure.

Few things are more irrelevant than the Oregon Republican Party. Maybe the Washington DC, Rhode Island and Massachusetts Republican parties.

 

Massachusetts has had Republican governors for 22 of the past 30 years, but at this point the state party is quite Trumpist and Charlie Baker is doing his own thing. He might as well be an I.

I’m also guessing Manchin’s vote can be bought, but the price will be mighty high. Maybe NASA can move its headquarters to Martinsburg or Charles Town.

 

What Manchin appears to not understand is that one doesn’t simply “sit down and work it out” with Mitch McConnell. He has to be beaten, and that requires numbers.

 

It boils down to this:

A majority of Republican representatives, senators and voters have already decided/will decide that allowing a president to incite a riotous, armed mob to attack the Capitol in an attempt to stop the certification of a legally-elected US president, to possibly overturn said election, killing a Capitol policeman and destroying Federal property in the process, while getting off scot-free, is just fine and dandy with them.

Amirite?

 

Manchin understands. He just doesn’t care (until enough pork is slipped his way).
