They need to get the @dog_feelings dog to be their press secretary. Love that account.

The Buffalo Commons - North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Kansas, Iowa and Wyoming - and the deep Confederacy. Solid Red.

I disagree. Do we feel any less when a murder trial takes place years later?
Due process takes time. You can’t just hang people even if thousands saw it already.

Look everyone gets protections, even murderers , because when it’s you with the target on your back you damn sure want the same protections.

What about if somehow they impeached Biden and then said trial starts immediately tough luck? Wait we need to defend ourselves.

I urge everyone to be patient. We had to wade through 4 yrs, if you’re outraged, it’s not that hard to keep it alive for two weeks.

Schumer and McConnell have apparently worked it out.

    Au revoir, filibuster.

Dick Durbin on MTP spoke of a situation where Dems don’t axe the filibuster for a couple months to see if the Republicans play ball, but keep it in their back pocket. I’d give them 30 days.

Good. Otherwise, we'd all be concerned.

Good. Go back to selling $100 pillows to a bunch of cultists. Kool-Aid flavored, perhaps?

I'm sure Tucker Carlson's "show" needs all the financial backing it can get.

We have long memories. The Cro-Magnons on the right don’t. Unless there is another riot where they’re threatening to kill them all while the trial is happening, they’ll pretend this all never happened.

One of the jobs of the prosecution in any criminal trial is to refresh the sense of outrage about a crime. The House managers will have video. They'll have the public filings in criminal cases to read into the record. They'll have witnesses, most likely police officers. It might not affect the Republican Senators' votes, but it likely will have some effect on how they speak of Trump from now on.
