Considering I've spent the last 16 years living in cities along the James River, I'll go ahead and say it's the James. Crossed it every day twice when I was going to the office every day.

    It's close between:
    1. Walloomsac River in Bennington Vermont
    2. Connecticut River spanning White River Junction Vermont and Lebanon New Hampshire
    3. Delaware River spanning Morrisville PA and Trenton New Jersey

The only thing close might be the Occoquan between Fairfax and Prince William counties.

Maumee or St. Lucie. Maybe the Great Miami or the Hocking.

    The Potomac River for sure.

Purely a guesstimate but I would say I crossed it in one direction or the other at least 12,000 times.

Sacramento or American River, depending on which end of Sacramento I've been to most often.

I'm suddenly realizing how few rivers California has that you need to cross with regularity.

Last decade or so, the Spokane River ... which along I-90 happens to coincide with the border of Washington and Idaho (the only place it does that).

I used to cross the Mississippi River daily when I lived/worked in the Quad-Cities.

And growing up, the Des Plaines River snaked its way through the near-west and southwest suburbs of Chicago, forcing me to cross it many times.
