This is essentially two separate trades - Stafford for a couple decent assets, and hey while we've got you on the phone and we're acquiring your starter, what'll it take you to drag Goff off the lot for us?

In addition to everything else, I hope Lions fans like one delay of game penalty per game, plus one timeout to prevent a second delay of game penalty per game.

 

They were doing that shit already under Patricia.

 

The Lions now have five first-round picks in the next three years. The challenge now is to see if they can flip a couple of those picks for multiple players. (As well as not fucking up the picks themselves.)

 

The Lions never have had depth because they always screw up the Day 2 and 3 picks
They have lost picks by moving up to take guys who had good careers once they left Detroit
Shaun Cody and Kyle Van Noy are examples
