Explains a lot. I imagine there are a lot of white people frustrated that they don't seem to be doing as well as their parents, not recognizing that a lot of their parents grew up in an age when education and opportunities weren't that available to non-white people.

Find a couple of center democrats to join to form a socially libertarian and fiscally responsible economic policy and I think you can get the suburban vote. I’d be very curious. I think the future of the Democratic Party is a harder left to identity politics and taxing non-democrats to pay for programs that only benefits the core democrats.
