I don’t see the benefit in attacking Greene over her sex life. There are far more important, more objectionable things to focus on.

 

Because she claims to stand for Christian morals and family life. She made her sex life a target by saying those things. It's why people criticize Tom Brady for being drunk. Brady swears he hanct had sugar in his body for 15 or 20 years. There is sugar in alcohol. Don't pretend to be something you're not, and don't hold up virtues you don't have and then expect to get a pass.

 

Trump wing controls the Republican primary vote. If republicans want to be nominated or renominated, then Following the fascist party line is necessary. Gerrymandering has given republicans invaluable safe districts. But no party has 51% of registered voters. Independent voters control general elections. Do they find trump distasteful enough to vote for democrats? And will democrats be smart enough to moderate positions to welcome independent voters? In other words, can democrats put a coalition together that includes middle class white voters?

By small town Southern politician standards, I haven’t noticed her leaning into the born again bit that much. Either way, if this is what people attack her on, it becomes just another political argument people tune out. It almost normalizes her in a way, and she is way too dangerous to normalize.
