    And ... it didn’t happen.

Weird. That was a perfect and really smart and sneaky setup. He takes himself out of the Chamber match, then hits the quick cash-in on Drew so he doesn't have to defend the belt in the Chamber. Oh well.

Late with this comment, but I was reminded from the previous page's comments on the current Flair family shenanigans - Lawler as a commentator for the women's rumble this year was so incredibly tone deaf. It felt like Vince had seized back control of the women's division from whoever had been programming it the past five years. And that's what the whole Flair Family Drama angle feels like too.

Apparently Lacey Evans is actually pregnant and will be missing some time. So that's only a semi-work.

Also, MVP might have blown out his knee or quad during the six-man tag last night. He's been more valuable for the Hurt Business as a mouthpiece than a wrestler anyway, so hopefully he can stick around and play that role even if he's injured.

I felt the same way. Since the pandemic started, I went through all the old Wrestlemanias and Royal Rumbles, and his commentary on the women's matches was killing me. He was a little toned down at this year's Rumble, but not nearly enough considering how far the women's division has come.

I geneally cant stand Lacey Evans (the whole angle vs Lynch was so cringe) but something about the way Naitch is playing this one makes me chuckle. I dont hate it and Ive seen a hell of a lot worse on wwe TV

What’s nuts about Lacey is that she has background that screams out credible babyface. She had a rough childhood and went in the Marines. I liked her early Rosie the Riveter character. She could have been a good patriotic babyface.

She could have been built like Liberty Belle in GLOW, except they pretty much immediately skipped to her as a heel, haha.

Reminds me of Angle. Perfect story for a babyface but worked perfect as a heel.

Watching "Young Rock' on NBC ... this is a fun show. Hope it catches on with more than just wrestling/Rock fans.

Angle’s told the story of how he was given his first promo and was questioning why he was going to be acting like a jerk. Vince had to explain to him that he was going to be a heel. Angle didn’t see how he could be a heel, and Vince told him to trust him.

I'd give it a C, C+. There's some stuff that landed really well, like the Youngest Rock segment with his dad and the wrestlers, and Rock at Miami. But the middle segment with the hobos was just weird.
