Well, it is apparently a (mostly) true story. He's talked about swindling a car off a crackhead.

I get that they want to build Miz as a guy who has to use underhanded tactics to get the title, but after losing to Kofi last week, he’s now gone without a singles win since October, and he has one singles win since Jan. 2020. He should’ve at least been able to cheat his way to a few wins in that time. I don’t get why they would book the guy with the MITB briefcase like that. He should at least come across as a credible threat.

I think I also read that John Morrison has won one match since last June, or something insane like that. How does that happen to two guys who have been in the upper mid-card most of the past year?

I just don’t understand it. As a team, they’ve won some, and they were tag champs on Smackdown not that long ago. But they’ve turned both of them, two wrestlers who were once top guys or at worst upper midcarders, into regular jobbers. I fully expect Miz to lose when he cashes in at this point, and even if he wins, it feels like it will be in a way that sets him up to drop it quickly.

Omega vs. Moxley in an exploding barbwire deathmatch should be interesting.

To the E’s credit, that’s not something I would’ve realized without looking it up on the internet. They’re not presented as losers. I mean they are (didnt Strowman beat them both at the same time) but not in a Bo Dallas/Brooklyn Brawler way.

imagine theyre winning the PC practice matches that take the place of house shows. Just like all Goldberg’s midweek streak extenders.

Yeah, the way they book the individual matches, they at least aren't squashes, but in the end, they still end up looking up at the lights. I'm surprised they haven't made it part of a storyline, with someone commenting how he hasn't won a singles match in forever. They could turn him into the new "Dirtiest Player in the Game," with him doing whatever he needs to do to win. He cuts a hell of a promo, and Morrison is still great in the ring, so they at minimum should be in the tag title picture.

I saw a little of NXT last night, and although it was a small thing, it was my favorite thing in the show: As Jax and Baszler were in the ring to face off verbally with Kai and Gonzalez in front of the Dusty trophy, they showed MSK and Beth Phoenix in the corner beginning to munch on popcorn.

Or play off of Edge's promo from last week where he said he needs to be champion while Miz wants to be champion. Have Miz acknowledge he's been living off past laurels and hype, and hasn't lived up to his potential recently, and he now realizes he needs to be champion as well to justify his career. Then he becomes a totally ruthless son of a bitch, using cheap shots, backstage attacks and underhanded tactics to take out opponents.

msk had a whole new day/street profits but better vibe that I dug. Its great in that they needed some character beyond “great wrestlers”

Daniel Bryan to Owens about all the partners he's turned on:

"There's another big one I can't remember. Maybe I should make a list."

    Nice.
