The reason I don’t think it would be Shuri is that Paul Bethany said the cameo is an actor he has wanted to work with his entire life. He’s worked with Letitia Wright, and even if he hadn’t, she wouldn’t fall into that category.

Sir Patrick Stewart is my guess.

I'm thinking the same. Gotta be him or McKellen.

Could be both. It would be an incredible reveal to have Wong and Strange show up, as a fakeout, and then they spin up a portal and sirs Patrick and Ian emerge.

If the show ended with her saying, "Dad?" I think the internet would explode.

Whomever they choose needs to live for the next 10 years.

I’m not sure it makes sense to have them both show up because by the time McKellan and Stewart are playing the roles, Xavier and Magneto are enemies.

I definitely think it’s one or the other, but I’m guessing Stewart as a direct introduction to the X-Men, rather than to mutants, in general.

They weren’t enemies the entire time. There was the period that Charles asked Magneto to head up his school and lead the X-Men.

Not as played by Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan.

But the timeline from the original X-Men movies got thrown out by the second trilogy, so who knows what their relationship would be?

You have to take into account audience expectations. Also, Bettany only mentioned one actor.

Through every incarnation of the X-Men, Xavier and Magneto have always been portrayed as friends on some level. They're mostly frenemies, but they've often found common ground to work together when the need arises, moreso than any of the other X-Men villains.

We don't have Disney+, and tonight my wife (who has been on a huge show-binging kick since her retirement) said she saw a commercial for WandaVision and thought it looked like a fun spoof of old sitcoms.
I spent the next 10 minutes trying to lay out the rough plot for her so far, and how it's both an epilogue to the first 10 years of the MCU and is being used as a bridge to introduce all of these other new characters for the next phase, and that it's actually quite a bit darker in tone than what the commercials show. Since she's seen a few MCU movies but not many, the whole time I felt like I was dodging tangent landmines about the back story of the characters, how it ties into other MCU movies, and the complicated history of the Marvel movie rights issue.
Somehow, I think we made it through without her eyes completely glazing over.
