See, the GQP doesn't think government can or should fix any problems, so they have no plans to accomplish anything. Their only plans are to fuck up things other people are trying to do.

So when GQPers run for anything, they have no plans to do anything except to degrade and dismantle things the Dems want to do.

When the Dems run for offices, they have plans. Sometimes the plans are unfocused, unrealistic, not well thought out, etc etc. A lot of times they don't work.

So the minute they get into office, the GQPs scream, "I thought you had all these great plans! Where are your plans? Why aren't your plans working yet?!?!"

It’s not a democracy, it’s a republic.

 

It's a real indication of how screwed we are as a country - and as a state (Oregon's GOP just walked out of the legislative session for the third year in a row) when a minority of the voters rule, as long as they are Republicans. Democracy is at stake and it's probably the best argument to at least adjust the Electoral College as more people live in blue states and leave red states.

 

These people see everything related to government or technology as the mark of the beast but they can't pick up on a golden calf right in front of them

 

Amazing what human beings are capable of once they abandon dignity.
