The only blow against the GOP with this news is it will be harder to keep establishment voices in the room. The only question in Missouri is if they elect another Hawley or someone slightly less crazy.

Maybe if your political party relies on low-turnout elections to win, it's time to take a good, long look in the mirror and reflect on why that is.

They don't care. They just want to suppress the vote so that only the deplorables count.

The entire rationale of the Republican party has become that it is a minority that all the same must rule because of the innate superiority of its adherents over other people. It no longer adheres to the Constitution of the United States or the principle of constitutional democracy. Sooner or later, it will have to recant that belief in an attempt to win a majority, or we will have another civil war, because majorities aren't likely to put up with that shit for very long.

They see themselves as the Rhodesian Front. They can’t let the majority rule things because ... reasons.

the biden administration has failed at unifying the country

the need is clear, it is vital in these trying times that biden work with republicans for the good of all americans

why won't biden accept the republicans offers of bipartisanship?

    it's a mystery
