Noticed several references tonight for SDSU and NDSU where the second letter gets pronounced almost like “deh” and mashed up very rapidly with the other letters, instead of taking the extra beat and pronouncing it as “dee.”

That is a long time in the wilderness for a program that was a national power that spans the entire heyday of CBB (basically 1979-1995).
