    Is Coroner good?

You can watch all of DaVinci’s Inquest on YouTube. One of the best CBC shows of all time.

I like Coroner a lot. And I watched DaVinci back in the day. Nice connection .... DaVinci play's Coroner's dad. :)

Edited to add: Coroner is on Netflix now (at least here in Canuckistan).

I liked it, never got into all The CW superhero shows so don't know the continuity, though I read up on how this version of Superman and Lois came about.

Really liked Hoechlin as Clark/Superman. He might be the most handsome guy to ever play it, and that's with Christopher Reeve and Tom Welling in the mix. Hoechlin looks like a prettier Kevin Stefanski. He plays Superman as calm and confident and an inspiration to people. As Clark, he lets himself be a bit more conflicted on what to do as a father, not having all the answers, and sometimes even having the wrong ones. Don't know if I'll keep watching it, but I think they'll have a good run.

The Knick is on HBO Max now. I missed it the first time around when it was on Cinemax. Three episodes in and it's incredible television. Very quickly hooked.

"Lenin had the same problem: the day after the revolution ... he complains in one of his writings ... Marx never told us what we do tomorrow morning."

That is such a great line, and funny to envision as a scene in a play or movie, or bit in a book.

I dare say it has some Python appeal but I don't really like Python.

It's funny that you bring up Hoechlin's looks. Welling's background was more in modeling than acting before Smallville. I like that Hoechlin looks more like an average guy rather than being built like a linebacker. It just makes more sense. Imagine the type of equipment Superman would need to get jacked.

They made a joke about it during the Crisis crossover, which included his version of Superman meeting Tom Welling's version, and his Lois noticing that Welling is much more muscular.

Hoechlin is pretty fit, as anyone who saw the Teen Wolf show can tell you. Not buffed up muscle guy, just muscular and in shape.

Welling was one of the prettiest people on TV when that show started. And hired for his looks — he wasn’t that great and hasn’t done much since. He’s kind of gone Garth Brooks since. Wears a lot of black now.

I left Brandon Routh out of the Prettiest Superman Candidate contest. That guy is no slouch. Might have become more handsome after he played Superman.

Quincy says hello. Man I loved Davinci's Inquest. I'll watch any thing Chris Haddock does. Hell, I even watched both season of the Romeo Section - on DVD no less.

I’d be willing to argue that DaVinci set the bar for gritty/realistic street crime years before the Wire. Not saying it’s the better show, but it hit a few marks for which The Wire was lauded.
