As an aside, what percentage of scandals/tragedies involving members of a high school faculty are band/choir/drama directors? From my experience it's about 90%.

Yeah, but you have to get it injected through your gums.

Millions of rabid anti-dentites will refuse the vaccine.

No thanks. Will a dentist be prepared if someone has a reaction to the shot?

Dentists work with anesthetics all the time. They ought to be prepared for averse allergic reactions. For the record, my first shot was delivered by a nurse at a group vaccination site and I was monitored for reaction by a young man who was obviously a nursing student.

We know very little about these vaccines.

Not so. There have been 100 million people vaccinated worldwide. That's a huge sample size.
My mistake. According to Bloomberg's tracker, over 300 million shots have been administered worldwide.

I don't know how I did it, but I got my mom a vaccine appointment for tomorrow. This will mean all but about four or five in my immediate family will have received at least their first dose by the end of the month.

We do not know the long-term effects.

Why would there be any long-term effects? Besides, of course, the induced immunity.
