One of the Montreal broadcasters was talking about the Sabres this past week. He would have some inside info because GM his nephew played there fairly recently.

“Everyone who is there wishes they were somewhere else”.

Watched Caps-Sabres Ducks-Sharks last Friday and Saturday nights, and man, that Buffalo Anaheim team is just thoroughly broken and defeated. They have zero life. I think you can start to look at the East West standings with the caveat of "well, they still have six games with Buffalo Anaheim left" as a predictor of future success. They'll be lucky to win five more games this year.

Too bad the Sabres and Ducks don't play each other. It would be 0-0 with neither goalie playing particularly well.

Buffalo fires Krueger. He's probably happy to be done with that shitshow.

How the hell did he get a contract at $3.75 million per year? He was working in soccer when he got hired ffs.

I can't comment on Krueger as a coach. But. ...

There is the recent game I saw against NY, where the effort was really weak and half-assed, and you have the same observation from @Cosmo against the Caps. ...

And in their last 12 games, they are 0-10-2 and have been outscored 49-19. ...

And then factor in that they actually have some talented players on that roster. ...

It can't all have been been coaching, even if they had to can him.

    Those players should be embarrased.

Gord Miller - who have enjoyed in the past, went at it with Barstool.

    Barstool exhausts me.

The only Barstool media I consume is Spittin’ Chiclets, which I think is excellent. But “exhausting” is a great word for Dave Portnoy.

I gather this rhubarb started when Miller did a Twitter AMA yesterday and somebody asked him why he wouldn’t go on Chiclets. He said he loves those guys but wouldn’t do anything with Barstool.

Whitney responded with a video tweet calling Miller irrelevant. These guys can’t let any minuscule slight, real or perceived, just slide by. They really are grievance merchants.

Just saw the tweet. That’s a surprisingly disappointing look for Whitney. I assume he was asked to do that. At least that’s what I want to believe, as he always seemed like a nice, relatable guy even as a player.

I wouldn’t be heartbroken if this whole shitshow caused a few people to pass on doing their podcast. Miller works for two important networks and he’s very well connected.

I’m over Chiclets. Enjoyed some of the interviews but the frat boy shit I can do without.
