Also if anyone in any eligible states has need of a link to sign up for FanDuel, shoot me a PM. Each of us gets a $50 site credit if I send you the link.

(I will keep all other betting posts to the gambling thread, I assume everyone who posts there is already on a site.)

I'd rather watch Swamp People than either of these first two game. A rerun, even.

    Choot 'im!

At least I can make a drive thru run during halftime of Drake-Wichita with absolutely no FOMO.

Such a complicated year. After years of thinking that a scholarship was just compensation, I have changed my mind and decided that players should be eligible for something more. At the Power 5 schools, it wouldn't be hard. Eliminate the "analysts" and recruiting assistants and social media recruiting assistants and a dozen other positions from every football program and you'd have a start on paying the players.

Having said all of that, I also think some of the angst this year is a result of the Trumpandemic-induced restrictions, which are both unpleasant and representative of remarkable work by the NCAA staff. It's hard to expect people to be grateful for restrictions, but the restrictions are necessary evils that give the competition a chance.

I hope the movement results in something positive for future generations of players. Kind of amazing that this concept actually has bipartisan support on Capitol Hill.

The flow of both of these early games explains why all four teams are playing in this round.

This is the first time an NCAA Tournament game has been this ugly without the involvement of Wisconsin since they instituted the three-point line.

I was looking it up. Wisconsin lost to Missouri State, coached by Steve Alford, 43-32 in the first round in 1999.
