I do find it funny that for all the "love" for essential workers throughout this deal - grocery workers and others - political leaders have done ZERO for them specifically. Minimum wage hike? Just can't do it. Priority vaccinations? Well, how bout you just try and get it with everyone else? It would be nice if they did make vaccines available to these businesses so they can at least make it more convenient for their workers.
And yes, sure - working through this thing, not having to sweat bills etc is probably reward enough - but it does make me roll my eyes anytime some politician throws empty words at a particular group without any actual action.

    Kegger at their place?

Apparently we have surplus Astra Zeneca vaccine that we’re giving to Mexico so the caravans don’t end up overwhelming Border Patrol? At least I’m sure that’s how it will be spun. I hope those folks don’t develop blood clots.

Well, his state's per capita numbers are identical to Governor Guilfoyle's, and his state's unemployment rate is only half as high --- all despite a more elderly citizenry.

    Florida: 152 deaths per 100,000

    California: 145 deaths per 100,000

So, identical unless you're one of the seven.

    But in Florida, 152 = 145.

Eh, depends on your source. This one has Florida slightly better.

And remember: California's population is MUCH younger.
