Somebody today said that it was a team’s first appearance since 2019.

Would have been an interesting prop bet at the start of the season -- over/under on wins by state of Indiana schools in the all-Indiana NCAA Tournament. And your answer is zero.

I am a WBB fan. But I think ESPN's bid to broadcast the men's tournament requires them to show the women's tournament (and some Olympic-sport tournaments too). Not sure how much interest there would be if the WBB tournament was a stand-alone bid.

Won't have to worry about making room in the rafters for a new banner at the Dean Dome.

ESPN doesn’t show any games from the men’s tournament.

    Question for lawyers on here:
If the NCAA is using one kind of Covid test for the men and a different (less accurate) test for the women, are they at risk for successful civil litigation on Equal Protection grounds?
If the differences of the tests stem from the location of the two tournaments (Indiana for the men, Texas for the women), is the NCAA off the hook?

My bad. They used to. I do know the women's tourney is not a stand-alone bid. And there is no reason for the difference in training facilities, obviously.

Out of the ones they do show, I’d guess that women’s basketball is the most valuable piece, followed by baseball and with softball showing the most growth.

I sometimes wonder if this is a sports message board. It has to have been over 25 years, at least.

Hockey and wrestling are big niche audiences. The NCAA wrestling and hockey tournaments make a ton of money. The bad thing about the women's tournament is, so many mismatches until the Sweet 16. The #1 seeds win their first-round games by 40-50 points.
