Does this mean he’s getting traded to the Patriots?

Does point to an interesting issue. I believe all the accusations against trump and Kavanaugh. I think the ones against Cuomo are not physical assaults just piggish behavior by someone who feels entitled. I liked the was cuomo gave trump shit last year so I’m less inclined to be outraged. And I’m also pissed about the one sided nature of responsibility, Al Franken felt the need to resign for childish behavior for a comedian. But Republicans who are pigs are emboldened by their conduct with no need to apologize let alone resign.
Do we feel the need to look for reasons not to believe the accusations against Watson because we like him, or for some other political reason?

Do we need to be consistent in how we view accusations? If it’s done on a case by case manner, doesn’t that allow for too much subjective or biased reasoning either for or against?

That bit about Cuomo is exactly the kind of thinking Republicans are weaponizing as part of their rhetoric right now. If Democrats cut Cuomo a break because they like his politics, then it justifies supporting Trump and other Republicans when they do terrible shit. Of course, that is crap. Cuomo should resign. Failing that, he should be voted out of office in 2022, but in no way are his failings even close to Trump's. The latter incited an assault on the U.S. Congress. He was far worse even before Jan. 6, but that should be the clincher for any reasonable American. That won't stop Republicans from using ongoing support for Cuomo in their rhetoric and some people will listen.

The Lt. Gov in NY is a Dem. Now maybe she might not win an election, but NY has a few Dems who could probably do okay in a statewide run.Schumer and Gillibrand don't seem to be going anywhere soon.

I always laugh when I hear about front-office types talking about doing their "due diligence."

Cuomo is probably past the point where he can apologize and vow to do better in the future. I do wonder if he announced he would not seek another term and hope to make amends in his remaining time in office might be enough though. (oops, got confused as to whether this was the politics or NFL thread).

Did anyone interview Wilson before drafting/trading for him, or did they just pick him based on scouting reports? Could have learned so much talking to him one-on-one.

I don't live in New York but my guess is that Cuomo will make it through the end of his term. But there is no way in Cuomo could win the next Democratic primary. I think Cuomo has been on the whole a good governor but he has stayed long enough.

I think he was barely 21 on Draft day and the rumbles from Georgia were always that he had tremendous talent, but he wasn't ready for adult life and the pressure cooker of the NFL. I think he had some pressure from home too. Already has a DUI to his record. I think he has a shit ton of mental issues that are hampering him and football should be the farthest thing from his mind. I hope he gets help. I don't like to see kids die.

For what Big Blue signed him for, couldn't Dave Gettleman have saved all this trouble and just held on to Odell Beckham in the first place?
