A lot of Lions fans think he quit on the team last season
Might be one reason he had to wait to get his big deal

I'll leave what occurred between him and the Lions to folks like you (not an insult ... you clearly know the ins and outs of what goes on in Detroit better than I).

No doubt Golladay is a nice upgrade to the Giants' receiving corps. But I dunno if he's an $18M-per-year level guy. This could be the kind of deal that a guy like Golladay cannot live up to. And again ... if Dave Gettleman was going to shell out this kind of deal, he might have been better off just letting Odell Beckham continue to do his thing instead of sign him to a massive deal, then turn him into some sort of fall guy and dealing him to Cleveland.

I like Golladay but I felt the Lions had two No. 2s in him and Marvin Jones
Gettleman paid Golladay and cut Romeo Okwara
Brad Holmes paid Okwara and let Golladay go
Lions probably will get a comp pick for him and another for Jones since they are only signing cheap free agents

Has Watson played his last game?

A little premature, don't you think?

13 accusers is a critical mass of course. Sadly, for the sake of society, I hope he’s not the victim here.

13 is unfortunately getting into Cosby territory, the sheer number of accusers is too hard to dismiss. Is there any connection between the accusers (other than same lawyer and their profession)? I mean we've got local masseuses and those flown in from out of town. The stories are eerily similar. Man, its similar to the Tiger Woods saga in that it wasn't just one person, once a few spoke out it became a deluge. Whatever the reason, sad.

You guys are wondering if Watson is done? This is the NFL. I'm not entirely convinced it even dings his trade value that much.

I'll go with six game suspension that gets reduced to four.
