That’s the name of a building on the Maryland campus. They told us it was pronounced Tolliber

And I would argue that that ninth seed Georgia brought nothing to the tournament in any regard. Those are the teams that need to exit the field.

Ex-Jets/Patriots QB Mike Taliaferro, pronounced "tollifur."

Except for that pesky auto bid. And the fact it was Ga. Tech, not Georgia.

Im not necessarily arguing the case for more mid majors. I’m saying that Illinois got itself a little bit of a raw deal because it played what should have been a 3-4 seed (5 at worst) in a round of 32 game.

I remember him. Joe Namath's first backup.

It's Georgia Tech. Missed it by THAT much.

And it earned its way in by winning the ACC tournament. Took out Florida State in the final.

You said Georgia first; I don't have the field memorized. Okay fine They won their conference tournament, but I think you get my point. Having more mid major conferences with two teams in instead of one, which just lops off a few low range P5 teams, would make it all more exciting I think.

UTEP always gets credit as trailblazers but didn't that Loyola team have four black starters? Some of Oscar's Cincinnati teams had three or four too, I think. Loyla made the mistake of not beating all-white Kentucky.

Same stories as three years ago. :)

And, YES on Bill Self and Kansas. They’re as dirty as my Laz-E-Boy.

Have eight-team brackets that are smaller tournaments inside of the larger tournament.

Start everything on Wednesday/Thursday to get to four teams in each mini bracket. Friday/Saturday to get to two in each bracket and Sunday/Monday to get your bracket champion and the tourney is now down to eight teams.

Play one game in each bracket on a new site the next weekend to get to the final four.

Then the next weekend is Final Four weekend.

Or whatever was being done 35 years ago.

Only way Wisconsin is getting any turnovers is if Baylor puts RGIII in the game.
