Cheer for OSU left coast in the 9:40 game.

    I need Okla SU.

Boy this game reminds me of two things that I had forgotten. I forgot how much I hate to watch Syracuse play. And you can never count on a Bob Huggins coached team in the tournament

They spout off every stat whether it’s causation or correlation except 1.
No coach has had more wins taken because of violations than Jim Boeheim

Why is Craig Stadler coaching West Virginia?

Remember: Must save 60 Minutes and Murder. She Wrote. Except on the West Coast.

Speaking as an old Southerner, that name is something of a barometer. When someone stumbles over it and comes out with something like "Tally-a-ferro", it calls for a "You ain't from 'round here, are you?". It should be somewhere on a blurry line between Tolliver and Tollifer.

Pronouncing words correctly in the South brings out that infamous phrase. I've heard it enough times in my life.

As a mid-major guy, I tend to agree. There are a number of conferences where the second place team is at least competitive with the fifth or sixth place power conference team that gets in now, particularly in the case of the best team in the league losing in the conference tournament. For instance, North Texas got in by winning the tournament, but there were at least two better teams. Hell, UAB beat them back to back on their home court where they were previously 10-1, and UAB was fourth or fifth best. Western Kentucky was clearly the class of the league and wound up in the NIT. We all knew that the only way C-USA got two teams in was if WKU won 24 or more, including beating Houston, then wound up as the tournament runner up. They've got Charles Bassey, a 6' 11" C with 19 points, 12 rebounds and 3 blocks per game who will be drafted by the NBA.

There’s a county in east Georgia with the same spelling and pronunciation.

That phrase, too. And what I usually am thinking of saying in response is a little less filtered.
