Perhaps I can clear up "cancel culture" for you.

It doesn't exist. It's Tucker Carlson bullshit intended to defend shitty people.

I figure this falls out one of two ways. Either there is proof that Watson actually did what he is accused of - and I am in no way writing off the possibility - or this is basically a frame job involving the lawyer getting 40% off of 16 (and reportedly up to 24) women who are looking to cash in, have read the accusations of previous accusers and proceeded accordingly, possibly with some advice and guidance from him. There really does not seem to be much middle ground. If there is proof of say five instances, all the rest look much more believable. If it's all he said/she said with no emails, texts, or or other records and statements from a time before the accusations started, he probably walks and he probably should. That's the system.

His nice guy, community and charitable supporter rep is shot either way, whatever the court decides.

So does Houston hang onto him, wait and see? Does it let him go at a fire sale price if there's an offer, get something for him and run? Can any team justify making him an offer until this thing is resolved? As I said before, there are teams that would be willing to take the PR hit if they can get him cheap enough, but will they roll the dice that he won't wind up in jail or on the commissioner's list for who knows how long?

This is a big mess, and no one really knows anything yet.

You'd think that with the number of NFL groupies and golddiggers who see how much money he has, he could get all the action he wanted without forcing himself on massage therapists. Maybe that's his kink, I dunno. It just puzzles the hell out of me on so many levels.

I get what you are saying, but that would be far worse than a kink.

I was referring to getting into a fight at all.

I was referring to his sourpuss comments after the Browns waxed the Steelers in the playoffs.

That was a pretty big emotional release, huh?

For Claypool? I'm sure it was. Lotta cryin' went on after that game.

Pittsburgh seems to collect a lot of very unlikeable wide receivers.
