    These "independent" investigations always seem to protect whomever was writing the check don't they? Curious to know how much the LSU board was aware of what was going on with Miles. It would have been nice if Alexander did in fact fire Miles and explain why in his first month on the job, but I highly doubt he would have been there much longer if he did do that. The odd thing is - he really has been a champion for women's athletics.

    The happiest people in this entire situation are those still at LSU, because the guy who is no longer there is getting all the blame. If there are serious Title IX issues at your school, a lot of people in the food chain knew all about it and did nothing before it percolated up to the presidential level.
