Great to see that the release announcing his firing has Campbell droning on about integrity.

This is the guy who has input on major anHL decisions. I’m sure the league rights holders will ask the tough questions today. Peel is an easy scapegoat, he was scheduled to retire Apr.24.

 

Fuck Colin Campbell. NHL will be better when that guy leaves.

But, also, fuck Tim Peel. Awful ref.

 

I have no doubt that refs are encouraged to manage games. At the very least, it’s not discouraged.

 

The leagues a joke. They bring the skilled teams back to the pack by allowing the shitty teams to get away with stuff. They also take great pride, as do their media lackeys that the playoffs are a different brand of hockey. In other words, fuck the skill guys, let’s let them get abused so the shitty teams can keep up. Forced parity and Peel is paying the price for doing what the league has encouraged.

 

The whole loser point is engineered parity.

I don’t mind the 2-1 split of a regulation win is 3. But losing in extra time feels like a tie, not a loss.

 

This one got Peel suspended.
