Emmert agree to a ‘study’. For $2.7 million in cash every year and more perks than a Saudi Prince in Vegas the scumbag ought to make a decision. The lying fucktard President does’t give a shit about women’s sports, and neither do the ADs and College Presidents. The NCAA is an ATM machine and you don’t give your PIN number to someone you don’t like Only with focused media coverage will the NCAA be forced to take action, which won’t happen because sports journalists and sports media know that women’s sports, like hockey, cause people to switch the channel.

Too many blocked shots, too much on the boards. Virginia Tech is improving and Brooks is a criminally underrated coach. But taking out Baylor at this stage is far too big an ask.

Just FYI, the M in ATM stands for "machine" and the N in PIN stands for "number."

We now return to our regularly scheduled programming.

That A&M-Iowa State women’s game was as good as any men’s game I’ve seen this year. Shoutout Jordan Nixon. What a finish.

I'll keep that in mind the next time I submit my VIN number to my insurance.

A&M literally hung on for dear life. Iowa State should have finished off the Aggies. Twelve-point lead in the third quarter, then still ahead down the stretch. A&M kept plugging.

Then again, a win by the Cyclones could have benefitted N.C. State. Wolfpack will see Indiana next, then perhaps A&M.

There is a reason not to use "March Madness" in the women's tourney - if I'm not mistaken there isn't a double-digit seed left in the Sweet 16. It would probably be a good idea for the women's game to craft their own identity in any event, have their own One Shining Moment etc. Women's sports in general are always kind of jammed in that they tend to "draft" off of the popularity of the men's version of a particular sport for funding (see soccer, the WNBA) but stylistically different enough where they could be marketed differently.

The Oregon State-Oregon Pac-12 tournament semifinal was just on Pac-12 Network. Near the end Walton is talking up the Beavers, said they belonged in the tournament no matter what happens against Colorado in the finals, that Oregon can make a great run, that the Pac-12 is stronger than a lot of people think and that Ohio State and Big Ten was horribly overrated. PxP guy Ted Robinson basically says Walton is crazy.

Judging by what's happened, maybe 'ol Bill seems like a whack job but just maybe he knows more about basketball than he's given credit for. He does ramble off on tangents all the time, but if you can separate the analysis from his rambling, he knows basketball.
