I know that's what you meant. What do you think? You get shat upon for most of three decades and finally have a moment? You're going to over-cherish it.

It wasn't a great look, but I didn't care. I am far more concerned with him getting into a bad situation in that fight, though maybe he really was just trying to protect a friend.

Should the Jints sign Aldon Smith? Looked like he turned things around and can still play.

I have no idea whether Watson is done, but I'm astounded that the Great Dan Wetzel wrote this sentence, and his editors let it go:

"In May of 2020, she said Watson contacted her via Instagram seeking a massage ..."

Really? She said that in May of 2020? This has nothing to do with anything other than, my goodness, as journalism jobs continue to be cut, the English language is taking a beating.

Should this go here or in the dumb tweets thread?

And in case he deletes it, it is Browns TE David Njoku tweeting that if he was only in it for the money, is $6 million all that much to brag about?

In his case it really isn't. He grew up middle-upper class. Know someone who taught his sister in elementary school. IIRC there's at least three
boys and three girls and all did well in school and are successful. His younger brother (think the youngest) just graduated hs last year, not
sure what school he went to. Was pretty highly rated, not 3 or 4 start but think lower level D1 prospect.

If earning $6 million is not something to brag about, that’s a self-own as well as an insult to just about every working stuff who drinks a 12-pack while rooting for the Browns every Sunday.

Steve Austin (not that one) remembers when $6 million was something to brag about.

In terms of NFL contracts it's not. Every player in the NFL can brag compared to the guy who drinks a 12 pack and watches the Browns,
or any other team. If it's 6 mil a season that wouldn't put him in the top 10 among TE.

    That’s why it’s a self-own. He’s saying he’s not good enough to earn a braggable amount.
