Why do I get a drummer for an 80s rock cover band vibe?

I just haven't put lipstick on this pig and properly done up my curls.

Not quite rock but I did want to be in the Stray Cats like no other.

Got both Moderna shots. Turns out that the decades-old ward heelers machine built by our veteran county exec actually is good for more than just picnic areas and challenge courses. The vac system in my county runs like a Swiss watch, so much so that at-risk relatives in the next county who couldn't get scheduled are getting their own shots at my place. Worth noting that check-in only asks for your online appointment, not your ID. Also, my town's teachers are getting their vax thanks to our district's concerted nagging effort. The campaign found a civilian in the district who actually had the ear of a county vax official, unlike the neighboring district (which is super wealthy and always top-rated among the state's schools). Our vax center is a vacant Sears, which is doing more good things in its death throes than it ever did as a retailer.

    All viruses are local.

I wonder if there are differences between states that operate the vaccination process through county health departments vs. those states that have health districts such as Utah.

Was thinking about 9/11 today - and flying after it - remember people looking around the plane as they got seated, maybe discussing with others if they were ready to "roll" if the plane was hijacked. And now people won't even wear a mask and still call themselves patriots. What a country.

My wife, fully vaccinated since the end of January, has been exposed twice in the past two weeks. Most recently on Tuesday. She has mild symptoms. I told her she was sick, but honestly with the vaccination didn't even think COVID (silly me). She's been sent home from work and has already taken a test.

While playing the waiting game, anyone have any experience with two months post vaccination or something similar getting it? It is what it is, but things just started ramping up here. All kids full-time school for the first time in more than a year this week, a few activities, etc. Just so down with the possibility of a quarantine. Especially if coming from our fully vaccinated family member.

Finally, a Covid-spurred way of how to make money in journalism!

I'm 65 in seven weeks and I'm convinced I'll be the last person vaccinated

I guess it's fitting that NFTs are tied to Blockchain since any story I read about either may have well been in Mandarin.

Thank you. I'm glad I'm not the only one.
