I don't, but although I generally enjoy the examples in those "Don't end up like your parents" commercials, that one almost offends me. I'm watching that and I'm like "What the hell is wrong with reading books about submarines?" I'm an avid reader, and I think more people should be engrossed in a book, not less.

 

Man, and I thought those games were pointless when they were scheduled before the championship. Who would even bother if the title games already been played.

 

There’s a lot to pick on the olds about, but some of those seem egregiously mean. And I say that as someone who has spent a significant amount of time being egregiously mean.

I am an idiot because the first 100 times I watched that, I thought the "dad" was her brother.

 

The sign saying 'no cussin, no fussin, no ba....." being tossed in the trash is the best four seconds in the history of television.

Does Florida State always play like this? I thought they were bruisers, but right now they're playing like a podcast on 1.2x speed. Eight turnovers in 13 minutes, most of them just going-too-fast out-of-control kinds.

 

I always thought one of the least-watched games in the history of sports was a Memphis-Tulane women's basketball game that aired on one of the Fox Sports regional channels opposite the Super Bowl a few years back. This NIT consolation game might have rivaled it.
I guess they scheduled the championship game first (it started at noon EST) to get it on ahead of today's NCAA Tournament games. But why they even had a consolation game, let alone one that wasn't a warmup for the championship, makes no sense at all.
