Agreed. Mac Jones isn't Joe Burrow. His numbers didn't match what Burrow did in 2019 at LSU, but more importantly, he just can't move like Burrow. I don't think he can make plays under pressure the way Burrow can. I don't doubt that Jones will go in the first round and likely the top 10, but you don't make that kind of move for a guy like him.

Oh I liked Burrow. Still think if he stays healthy will more successful than Herbert or Tua.

I am certain he will be better than Tua. At this point, I think we have to look at Herbert as more of a safe bet as a pro. The Bengals could definitely screw up Burrow, though I think he will still be at least good.

I actually thought Tyson Alualu had already signed with the Jaguars, but I guess the deal was held up when he contracted COVID. He changed his mind and re-signed with the Steelers. That is a little bit of help for a defense that has taken some big hits this offseason.

If Urban Meyer had been able to interview him in person, this would never have happened.

If NFL eventually goes to 2 byes and 18 weeks, shortening pre-season to 2 games -- it'll take 8 weeks to see what teams really are in regular season.

Given the current scheduling - six division, six conference, four out of conference - it will be interesting to see how the 17th opponent is chosen. The "other two" conference games (outside of the intra-division games are determined by place in the division of the previous year. So you get 2nd place playing 2nd place, 3rd place-3rd etc. Those games usually have a lot to do with who goes to the playoffs. Now some poor second place team is going to get a division champ and another a 3rd place finisher. Unless they go with non-conference games for the 17th and match teams up based on previous years finish. It would probably be more equitable.

It will be against a corresponding placed team from a set division from the other conference. The home team conference will be alternated every year.

Example: Packers at Chiefs next year (NFC North at AFC West)

This has already been determined. For instance, the AFC North plays the NFC West. I know Arizona plays at Cleveland. Each team finished in third place last season.

Yes. And they chose how to match up the conferences so teams aren't facing teams in consecutive years.

So for the AFC West, they last played the NFC North in 2019 and next will in 2023, so that's the matchup of the extra game in 2021.

The AFC West played the NFC South in 2020 and next will in 2024, so that's the matchup of the extra game in 2022.

    Etc.
