Muh Muh Muh My Corona (virus)

It being the virus.

 

Maybe, I'm sure she will check. But she didn't go home at Christmas because of Covid fears to it's a chance to see family members too.

 

New York goes to 30+ eligible tomorrow and 16+ on April 6. A race against rising case numbers in the state and in too many places all over the country.

 

Will wonders never cease? The county vaccine hotline called me. I'm getting vaccinated on Wednesday. Moderna.

 

I’m really discouraged by all of it. The CDC director says doom is impending. Texas and Florida are owning the libs and thousands are dying as a result. Hoping RickStain pops up to offer some encouraging info.

 

I’m getting Johnson & Johnson on Wednesday. Don’t want to screw around with two shots.

 

There was some worry originally that would be stigmatized as the less-effective “poor people” shot. But in the statewide Facebook group I was in for tracking down available shots, that was by far the most popular request (and hard as hell to find.)

 

I had to drive an hour away. I have a lot of reasons to pick JNJ. It’s one shot, I own more shares of JNJ than any other stock, I try to support Ohio companies (even if they’ve done some pretty awful things), and most of the executives at the place I work are ex-JNJ people, so they’ve been pushing it pretty hard as a really effective, more convenient shot for younger people.

 

Colorado is opening up to everyone on Friday. I am leaning toward this option as well for the same reason.

 

My advice is, just take the first vaccine available and roll with it. One shot is more convenient, but that's a small advantage compared to the benefits all three offer.
