My town is on spring break this week and Facebook is filled with tons of pictures of people traveling with their families. I guarantee that a majority of them will have their kids back in school next Monday and will ignore the quarantine rules.

 

So, did you?

 

Mixed bag on our street. Some left, some stayed.

Two families went to Florida, one family lives next door to me the other across the street.

The mom next door isn't big on masks, thinks they aren't effective. They've been having people over all through the pandemic.

Six kids in total between the two families, two school districts and three different schools.

They'll all be in school Monday.

You can remove the qualifier there, it's the entirety of it.

 

I care more about rising hospitalizations than cases at this point ... that really should be the metric that we're using to evaluate things. That said, it looks like hospitalizations in Michigan increased starkly, so that is concerning.

 

MTG called vaccine passports “the mark of the beast.” I’m sure conservative voices elsewhere have no issue with her characterization.

 

How many fans would an EXHIBITION game in a 40,000-seat stadium have drawn in 2019?

 

Well, I guess my hopes for a Seattle-Vancouver excursion or another Montreal trip are pretty much dead for this year. Not linking the whole thread, but basically 14 day quarantines for anyone returning to the country. Sounds like the border will be closed for a long while to us filthy Yanks.

 

It was the first game open to the public in a new stadium - even if it's an exhibition game, I'd expect it do better than 30% capacity.
